After years of research and development, we are proud to introduce the supercharged ‘H700’ C8 Corvette Convertible upgrade. This robust package takes the standard C8 Corvette Stingray’s 490 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque to a supercar-like 708 horsepower and 638 lb-ft of torque. The supercharged ‘H700’ upgrade was designed and engineered to work with any 2021-2024 C8 Stingray hard top convertible (HTC).

The supercharged ‘H700’ C8 Corvette upgrade comes complete with a high-performance supercharger engineered to fit in the HTC’s compact engine compartment, an air induction system with an air-to-water intercooler, and an enhanced cat-back exhaust system. An optional active-valve sport exhaust, Hennessey wheels, and a ‘Heritage C8 Livery’ are available to prospective buyers.

On February 14, 2014, the Hennessey Venom GT set a new world speed record for 2-seat sports cars by reaching a top speed of 270.49 mph (435.31 km/h). The test was performed at the John F. Kennedy Space Center on the 3.2-mile Space Shuttle landing runway. Brian Smith, Director of Miller Motorsports Park, drove the Venom GT to its record speed.

A representative from Racelogic, world-renowned maker of VBox GPS data-acquisition systems, was on hand to independently verify and document the Venom GT’s highest recorded speed. The Venom GT was powered with Pennzoil Platinum® with PurePlus Technology, a first of its kind synthetic motor oil made from natural gas.

Today’s feature on ClassicCars TV is a 2021 Hennessey Mammoth 1000. Based on the Ram 1500 TRX, the Mammoth 1000 features an upgraded 6.2-liter V8 with a 2.65-liter supercharger to produce enough power to make a Hellcat blush: 1,012 horsepower and 969 lb-ft of torque. The performance upgrades allow a 0-60 sprint in 3.2 seconds and ¼-mile ETs of 11.4 seconds. Production was limited to 200 trucks, all with serial-numbered plaque and — get this — warranty.

This particular Hennessey Mammoth 1000 sold for $143,000 at the 2023 Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach Auction.
